This residence expresses ideas of planar transformations as an aesthetic and a structural logic. The planar relationship between the ground slab and the roof slab depicts a dialectal conversation about thinness, thickness and convergence. The wing shaped roof plate transforms and merges with the ground slab at a singular point to transfer all its gravitational loads. Thus allow us to achieve a column free house, freeing all the rest of the form to float and land how it pleases.
